Did BOS - SAN last fall in F on a A321 neo and there was no pre-ordering as option. Asked the FA and was told, only one oven so they don’t pre-order on the A321 neo.

Is this still the case? I have an upcoming early summer San - JFK on A321 neo and seat selection will be dependent on odd / even flight #s or is pre-ordering available now?
