I have to take some exception to the "cultural differences" remarks above. I've been in several Nordic countries (plus lived in places with Nordic populations) and have experienced considerable warmth, hospitality and, indeed, cleanliness. I should add that the hospitality I've experienced has included dining at the homes of flight crews. I don't know if you are new to the SAS forum, but there are a few people here which sadly have nothing positive to say about Scandinavians in any context at all.
I just take those comments with a grain of salt and think YMMV
