This answers the old question but not the real question -- microwaves don't fly, but what happens if you microwave a fly?

I assume people ask you because they bring a cup of noodles or something similar on board? No offense to anyone here, but I've always found that very strange. Of course, one of my relatives packs an extra bag of groceries for trips just in case the grocery stores where they're going don't have the right food .
