I love Jean-Georges’ Nougatine. It’s pricey but in my experience superior to most other equally expensive brunches. It’s in Columbus Circle, unfortunately in the Musk, er I mean Trump, Hotel, but they’re just a tenant; they’re not otherwise associated with the hotel. And it’s right on Central Park.

If you like caviar and can deal with the $78 price, get the “egg toast,” an amazing (and pricey) two bite appetizer smothered in high quality caviar. (I’ll sometimes splurge, getting that, a salad, and a glass of champagne. It’ll run me $150, but it’s a wonderful, light meal.)
