Anyways, now that you mention it: I also have an upcoming stay where they informed me no check-in prior to 3 PM is possible due to the hotel being bought out for an event the night before.
I hope they don't make a habit out of this. This is actually a stay in Berlin where I possibly would check in earlier than 3 PM given the option.
