I don't think anything else will change operationally. But given that AA doesn't seem to be increasing turn times in connection with this change, and given their years long practice of not posting realistic departure times, it just means that people are going to feel compelled to show up at the gate even earlier than now... for a plane that hasn't arrived yet.
