Also doing some research it seems to take a week or so for those bonus ( 5X or 10X , etc) tier credits to post so you wouldn't be Diamond until your following trip.

Anyway I like my offer a lot better as I will be Diamond before I arrive, Diamond desk check in , possible room upgrade, $100 dinner on card etc, etc
