I understand that too, but that just makes the argument even worse. If I'm being forced to deprive myself of a daylight so that crews can chit chat in the galley uninterrupted, then something's really wrong with their management.
Also, while it may reduce their workload with others, it will sure as hell increase their workload with me because I will be more bored and honestly, more uncomfortable = needing to make up for it with some drinks 😂
