My first ever Premium cabin flight, so quite the occasion. It was a T3 departure so naturally I was stuffed from the 4 excellent lounges before hand (even the admirals club was decent to be honest). KSML for me and my dad opted for the veggie option on board. There were no printed menus which I had hoped for. Would love to know if I could snag a handful of Avios in exchange for this slight inconvenience or if this is too minor to count as service recovery. The crew were very good and attentive, but I thought they could have done a better job explaining the options given there were no menus. I'm sure if I asked for an in depth description they could of given one. The lack of a drinks menu also meant that they essentially had consolidated the alcohol options to a bottle of champagne. Again, I'm sure if I asked for something else they would have been able to provide it, but given this was my first premium cabin flight it seemed like a good occasion to try champagne for the first time, and it didn't disappoint.
Looks good but taste was slightly below what I was expecting, note the glass of champagne. Here's to Avios!
No complaints really, roasted vegetable thing was good, my dad had the Branston pickle ad cheese one as I'm not such a fan. Desert and scone were both excellent.
