I'm thinking it's intentional. Two years ago, I have been able to get decent First class availability, but ever since I have seen No availability. In fact, JL Business class availability has also is scarcer too. It might be in reaction to AS merging with HA since AS will be competing with JL on TYO routes and especially AS's relationship with JX.
