We stayed at the AC Ginza last year, and thought it was perfect in every regard, at least for our needs. Rooms are decent sized and staff was superb. There's hardly any lobby to speak of if you want a place to plop for a bit, but we really didn't use the hotel for anything but sleeping.
We never took breakfast at the hotel either. The price was pretty expensive, and there are so many unique and fantastic places in the area to try, it seemed pointless to waste a morning meal in a hotel. Our favorite breakfast spot was the line of food stalls at the old Tsujiki Outer Market, which is about an 8 minute walk from the AC.
