Push back started at 13:48 and after the standard safety briefing was had arrived at the runway and in the air exactly at 2pm local.
Unusually for me, a quick ‘view of the loo’ which impressed me as even the smaller of the two seen here on the right had sufficient headroom for me to stand up in, unlike the BA A320s which are a contortion every time.
Around twenty minute in to the flight the purser arrived with some treats and bubbly goodies, I could get used to this

. The cheesy biscuits were excellent.
A little later the economy service started. A choice of chicken or cheese sandwich, a choice of alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks, and a little pack of decent biscuits all put BAs horrendous economy offering to shame.
The rest of the flight I spent reading and snoozing until the pilots announcement at 15:05 that we were descending and the cabin crew announcement immediately thereafter that we expected to land in around 35 minutes. Ten minutes later the seatbelt lights came on as we had a bit of a bumpy and shaky patch on the way down but it all smoothed out once we were below the clouds.
A really good first experience in AF Y, I can happily fly this. Be interesting to see how CDG-BHX stacks up against it.
On the ground at 15:40 and now trundling around the airport to the gate, so pretty much an on time arrival
