How was the beach? I know it's not as picturesque as Bavaro, but it also won't have the massive crowds of Bavaro either.
Hopefully the included transfers would be with one of the resort's vehicles.

The crowd was a mix. Some families some couples. Not too many solo travelers that I saw. There were a LOT of international guests. Many were from other spanish speaking countries. There are two pools - one on the main ground and one upstairs above the buffet. They were nice enough an seating was plentiful but I could I see it getting crowded. The beach is actually really nice. Seating could be an issue again if it is really crowded. THere is a beach shack to eat/drink and the wait staff was at least visible.
I really doubt you get a resort car. It will likely be a bus that is contracted. I wouldn't hold out much hope for anything more - the resort is clearly trying to reestablish itself.
