Completely agree, I had exactly the same problem traveling to the US in October, paid A Class both ways. WLG-AKL-IAH, $370 each way price difference at the time I wanted to go which was the 4:45pm flight. I called up and explained your advertisement says ex AKL/WLG/CHC. Agent was really experienced and said yes it's a know issue to do with married fares. She said would over-ride the fair difference, which was easily done. Then put upgrades through, didn't clear despite R class.. Agent knew who to call, and it put it my hold and it was cleared within 2 minutes. I even sent an e-mail in to give feedback about how she went above and beyond... it is never you get service like this.
