Any current information on the best way to get a visitor eSim? Telstra has a pretty good deal on a prepaid 28 day SIM which would work for us. I gather it used to be that you'd have to show a passport at a Telstra store to register, but maybe that is no longer required? Looks like they might have an automated verification link with Border Force now. Once cleared to enter the country SIM registration using the app is possible?

We'll be arriving into BNE next month. Somewhat tight (two hr) connection to an Alliance flight up to CNS. Was hoping to get the eSim setup before arrival, but doesn't look like that will be possible.
