Who is CA Grok? Some of what is posted is really wrong. One example, high wing loading does not make an aircraft more susceptible to wind gusts. Exactly the opposite is true. The bit about Fly by wire is odd also. Most pilots would tell you the very best crosswind aircraft out there are the 757 and 767. I never sweated a 35 knot crosswind in either. Put me in a A330 at 35 knots and I would need a shower after. The CG part is weird also. The 727 had a great CG range with aft mounted engines.
