BA Flights Avios Booking Cancellation
I have two Y seats booked to ORD and back in April from LHR on BA for which I used the economy only AMEX voucher and a handful of AVIOS. I now need to cancel this and have just gone into MMB in the website to do so and am a little concerned as it did not appear as it has before in similar circumstances when it has shown the miles and money to be refunded and goes through online. Now it is asking if I am a passenger (I am) and to request a refund and then this will be calculated. I am reluctant to click anything for fear I am committed to cancelling prior to knowing what the refund will be. Should I just call the Gold line?? Probably more paranoid than I should be as YouTuber Noel Philips intimated in a clip I watched yesterday that BA are now not refunding the AVIOS in cancelled bookings which I do doubt to be honest??! I presumed I would get all AVIOS back and the companion voucher plus the taxes paid minus £35 per traveller? Thanks
