Wrapping up another multi-day stay here at the WA Bangkok. There are two construction sites ongoing - one directly next door on the west side and one on the south side. Overall, neither of these impacted my stay. I made sure to book a city view room that faces east towards centralwOrld and had no visibility of any construction nor any noise. Dinner at Front Room with my impresario credit was once again outstanding. Of course, I wouldn't generally pay this much for Thai food in Thailand but found it good use of my 100$ credit. The bar up top is also a nice time. Service remains overall good with the exception of check-in. I arrived at around 1230p and they told me that they had switched my room that I had selected during OLCI to allow me an earlier check-in. What time? 3p. LOL. Just had to take it in stride. The service at the pool continues to be very good and the construction didn’t bother me one bit up there. I know a lot of people rave about the breakfast and here is where I am conflicted. For me, it’s just ok. It continues to be a rather small selection when you look at it compared to other properties around the city. Sure, quality may be a bit better but overall I just come away feeling like it’s limited. Service is very good, however.
Overall, with the right price I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again as it’s a good location.
