Hello again and thank you to everyone who helped with links and suggestions.
I have now transferred some AmEx points in my Cathay Pacific account and just to be on the safe side I also transferred some Cathay Pacific points to my Marriott account.
I can already see that the points validity in my account has been extended to AUG 2026.
