First question. Don't know, but I see no reason why not.
Second question. They did so for me, and successfully so. One does need to check carefully that change doesn't propagate to all subsequent sectors. I have seen this happen followed by some frantic gate activity from a colleague to rectify once this was noticed. You don't actually need your SQ ff# in the booking for wifi, you can access it successfully per instruction provided in the cheatsheet onboard, and provide your SQ ff credentials through a browser (it is sufficiently enable to allow this).
