Its a mixed bag out there even within the same aircraft type. Also, tons of differing opinions on which is better than the other. I personally would rank the newer seats as the worst although they do have the newer IFE (some retrofits with the older seats have it now too though). I am 6' 3" 280lbs and the newer seats are just simply not comfortable. The worst are the NEXT seats.... narrow, horrible padding, terrible knee/leg room and the stupid divider is not only useless as a "divider" unless you are toddler, but it really encroaches on elbow space. I think the most comfortable narrow body seats out there (besides the 752) are the "dark" 739's.... but then you may or may not have wifi and no tvs.
