What is going on with the menus and catering ex-JFK (and I’m guessing ex-many us destinations)? Just checked, and it looks like I’ll have the same *exact* subpar menu on an ex-JFK flight early next month that I had on a flight in January, which was the same menu I had on flights back in Nov ‘24 and Aug ‘24 (and I believe I had a menu with the same mains a few flights in 2023 too). You can see upthread how sub par that January 2025 ex-JFK meal and menu was, so needless to say I’m a bit disappointed that the exact same menu that I’ve had on all of my recent ex-JFK flights has returned. Anyone know what catering company QR uses at JFK? I don’t think they use do and co, which DL, and I believe BA and a few other carriers use.

(and yes I know this sounds like a very entitled, first world problem rant, and of course I’m still absolutely delighted and know how privileged I am to be able to fly QR J again, but when you’re a frequent traveler, you start to notice and judge things)
