Regarding brekkie benefits, HGI is now the worst in the portfolio. You are given a credit that will not come close to what they charge at the restaurant for breakfast. And the restaurant is the only option available, unlike Hiltons or Conrads which may have a coffeeshop where you can just get a coffee and donut under the per diem amt.
At least it’s a coin toss if you’ll get actual eggs and sausage as opposed to Hamptons where you’re guaranteed steamed reconstituted eggs-from-a-bag.
But yes, the value at HGI is quite poor. Most HGIs I frequent have jacked the breakfast price up to $18-$20 and reduced the offering to eliminate the “made to order” aspect.
