Similar expericnes to the OP but with UA, they seem to be a little bit friendlier and more proactive in their F service. They are also more proactive with delays, sending out meal vouchers for ~30 minute days and also offering snacks form Y once because our F meals were taking a bit longer than expected. Sevice on AA is at a minimum but they often have best prices and routing for my travels.

I've had an Admirals Club membership for years and have had a few instances of being denied entrance at MIA because club is at capacity (D30). Really sucks and wish there was a way to be made whole for those times I want to use an amenity I've paid for but can't. 🤬
