It's definitely possible that routes flown and luck can introduce variability in individual experiences, but broadly, the numbers back this up. DL commands a massive yield premium over AA. It's even more shocking as AA has a dominant position in several large and wealthy markets and has a JV with BA which, together, has the dominant position on the most lucrative route in the world (JFK-LHR). It is impressive as to how they manage to cock it up.

It is narrower than the a320 and 737 series, but I haven't ever had an issue with the F config. The A220 has a cabin width of 3.28m which is larger than the MD-80 at 3.14m. Maybe I got used to the MD80 (always loved that aircraft. Whisper silent on takeoff).

The a220 makes some weird noises. The spool up howl, the air handlers in various locations etc.
