Personally, I highly doubt anything is going to change meaningfully at American until the entire legacy USAirways management team is completely purged, and an entirely new senior management team is brought in. The current regime has broken the service levels and employee morale so badly at American that I am convinced they all have to go before it’s going to get meaningfully better.
I agree, which is why AA’s recent internal messaging about how they know travel preferences have changed permanently, and they need to work to get more of that premium traffic, rang pretty hollow to me.
Saying they are having new J hard products coming means nothing to me when they don’t have a plan to improve the soft product, provide additional service training for employees, and improve employee morale.
