Finished our stay here and would say we were overall satisfied with the choice.
- Arranged airport pick-up from the hotel and it was flawless other than the fact we somehow came out of the doors where nobody was standing? I had to walk around a little to find our drive with the Renaissance sign. I found odd that the driver did not say one word to us whatsoever. I even tried to talking to him - even asked him if he did not speak english in spanish. He said nothing - complete silence the entire journey. LOL. First time I experienced that as it was odd.
- Received a corner room with a view of the Andes and downtown. Rooms are on the smaller side but nice & cozy! Housekeeping also did a good job.
- We found the language barrier a little more obvious here in Santiago and even the hotel in comparison to some other travels.
- Pool area is out back but had full sun for the most part all day. It is a relaxing area with beverage/food service. The pool is fairly small but does the trick to cool off if needed.
- Club Lounge is open for breakfast and evening snacks/beverages. A nice assortment of food (albeit it was never hot or even warm - always cold, yet they have burners/warmers) - Cold beer and different wines in the evenings.
- There seemed to be tons of guests either coming or going on cruises in the hotel
- Had a very good dinner at Catae Restaurant on site - Good food and great service!
- A couple of evenings we stopped at the D Bar - I indulged one evening in their Pisco Sours which were fantastic!
- Location is super close to a large, modern mall if you so desire that you can walk to. A safe, very nice area that you can take walks all over the community. We did this a few times and just wandered as far as we could then found someplace to stop for a beverage or lunch etc., Felt very safe in the area.
- Granted late check out no problem which was great as we had an evening flight.
- FYI. I used Cash & Points here. Good redemption rates at this hotel.

Would recommend this hotel for what it offers and the area it is in as Uber is just a tap away!
