I paid for the East Lounge in the week before Christmas, from memory it was €35 (annoyingly no free lounge access for BA Gold flying Emerald, despite the recent changes, only if I’d been flying EI transatlantic).

I’d arrived on the QR overnight flight (and from
Auckland before that) and had a 4.5hr connection until my Emerald flight. The shower was great & clean/well maintained, the cooked breakfast was superb (and amazing quantity given there were only the 2 of us in the entire lounge!) Apron views & decent coffee from the machine too. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy for us to stay for the whole connection (in theory there was a max 2.5hr time limit).

Not sure if it is normally this quiet first thing in the morning, but I’d be more than happy to use this lounge again at the same price point.
