SPA - returned here later hoping for it to be quieter, it was except for a bunch of ladies who had clearly been drinking and kept leaving the sauna door open to chat, this upset some folk inside and an argument proceeded….dear o dear I just wanted to relax!, was very busy so no chance of a swim, I showered in the nearby changing room ( shower better than poolside) and my lady retreated back to the room ( apparently the shower in the room is awesome! ) …..we decided we will not be visiting a spa hotel during half term in future.

We wandered down the river to “ les iguana “ restaurant, nice!….can recommend the chimichanga……returning just now for a nightcap in the bar area, nice vibe…. Pint of Stella and pot of tea, great service, friendly, quick and polite .
Now in bed about to retire with a book.
In the morning I plan to use the gym before breakfast…..Will report back!
