Recently stayed at the London Shoreditch location of the Four Points Flex/Express (whatever you want to call it). I stayed here before I stayed at the Euston location (re:
Four Points Flex by Sheraton London Euston, UK, opened Jul 2024 [Master Thread])
Pros:
Staff were super friendly and accommodating
Upgraded from their smallest room to one of the largest just by asking at check-in
I checked in slightly early (maybe 1pm) and had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be finished by housekeeping. NBD. They were polite the whole time.
Coffee/tea/water available at the check-in area
Breakfast served in the lobby in the morning. I arrived towards closing time each morning (jet lag) and nothing was being restocked. So I had the remnants of what was there. They took the food away promptly at 10am.
Cons:
Rooms are tiny but that's to be expected given the brand. I can't really ding them for this but just be prepared for SMALL rooms
Location isn't great. Unless you need to be in eastern London there's not much else to do out here. It's close enough walk to Bethnal Green tube stop
Train lines run right behind the hotel. The noise wasn't that bed but definitely noticeable
I was told the hotel opened in 2022. I am surprised nobody started a thread before but maybe I'm the only crazy one to stay that far east in London when I really needed to be in the city and Kensington. Tube travel doesn't bother me if it saves me a ton on hotels.
Would I recommend it? Again, depends on where you need to be. It's better for solo travelers for sure. I'd stay here again if the price was right (it was many, many pounds cheaper than the other hotels I normally stay in).
4 out of 5 stars from me. Sorry, I didn't take pictures.
