I will be booking a flight from LAX-BOS for mid April. The plane that is scheduled is the A321, which shows the Mint configuration to be 2-2 and 1-1 for each row, on each side. I'm traveling with my sister, so I don't necessarily need the 2-2 seats, as we'd both be fine with single seating in the 1-1 rows. If you've been seated in both types, what would you recommend? I'm buying her ticket and she doesn't know we're going Mint. I'd really like to surprise her with the best option. I've read some thoughts about the seats in the 1-1 having less padding and being less comfortable. I'd appreciate the perspective of someone here since I know I'll get real-world answers.
