Baggage through checked on separate bookings.
Currently in the Chelsea Lounge at JFK flying to LHR in F then on a separate (rewards) ticket in J to MAN. I asked if my bags could be through checked to MAN with my fingers and toes crossed expecting an outright "no" but the lovely lady was happy to oblige! She just needed to know which flight I was taking to MAN. Checked my bags through and gave me and my daughter both boarding passes to LHR and MAN. Very pleased considering BA's policy!
