I would argue that the appetizers are tied to the different mains. For example, on a recent flight from DCA to MIA I pre ordered the golden chicken and it was accompanied with the pimento cheese dip while the mojo chicken that was offered to the rest of the cabin had the shrimp appetizer. Furthermore, the shawarma chicken has been accompanied with the pumpkin hummus every time I have seeb it. I could go on but you get the jist.
