UA does fly a handful of SQ codeshares - below is an example. SQ, as with other airlines, will seek out what it deems to be the most suitable codeshare arrangements irrespective of alliance. Yes, JBU has a codeshare agreement with SQ. You will also find that SQ will sell tickets with AA and DL connections (but not as codeshares).
