SWU just cleared NRT/DFW, 772 has the fore/aft seats and I picked 1H which faces aft. That'll be a first for me. 1D and 7/8/10H are still open, for now. Those any better?
1 D/H are non-connected seats, so these will be preferable over 7/8/10 H which are all connected seats.
1 D/H are basically the same, only reason I'd pick 1D over 1H is that you can more easily hop out to the front lav which is on the left side on the 772's.
Given a choice I always go rear-facing on the 772's and 788's. Of course if the flight is more than about 24 hrs out the config could still change.
