Here are the “vegetables shandong noodles.” Honestly, tasted like a microwave Trader Joe’s Asian noodles meal. Very mid, and the anticipated “citrus tasty Asian sauce(lol)” it was drenched in was way too much on the cornsyrupy sweet-side. Will say the bamboo shoots were delightfully crunchy though. Nothing about this meal was premium, but I guess it’s a decent change up if you’re getting sick of the current menu. The corn salad starter was bland and boring, and again no ice cream or cheese option given on this 1300mi+ flight, just the cr*ppy cheesecake. The bright spot of this flight was the service, with both the lead and #2 working in tandem to get the meals out asap with multiple drink rounds during the meal as well. Post meal, one of them would make rounds for drink top offs or anything else once every 15 mins or so. Sent a message to AA giving the crew kudos!
