I just encountered the same error. Booked J RT via Delta (Air France operated). Keep getting the same error and can't look at alternative flights. The rep on the messaging app told me "the system is encountering an error and Delta is working to fix it." She offered to process the change via chat (but in reality I was just curious and don't need a change). Frustrating though!
