Yes, ask for ORC (original routing credit). Had the same last year when my SV LAX-JED-BKK was moved to AF LAX-CDG-BKK and QR BKK-DOH-LAX. AF flight was MX'd and put on CI LAX-TPE-BKK. Asked for SV credit which was posted but lost the CI credit but got the QR on my AA account.
