Good question! Like I mentioned, I think it gets a lot of love on here, so I am happy for those that have visited to help guide me in the right direction.

Only judging from photos and videos - I think the rooms look really solid, the rainforest/ocean mix is nice. Many of the plunge pools appear to have good views and some of the photos of the sunsets I've seen looks great.

I think the dark colors throughout the property in the rainforest, while can be nice, looked a little more gloomy in anything outside of full sun weather (which, to be fair, can always be said about any property).
The beach, doesn't appear to be super inviting or large and I am not sure about the pool by the Beach Grill. I am now reading some really bad reviews of the St. Regis beach too so maybe that is a moot point between the two.
I think the visually eye catching parts of the property are the spa and the beach grill, which is nice, but the rest of the exteriors, the grounds, the walking paths, etc. kind of gave me the impression of a "campground" and not particularly special feeling around the entire grounds.

I'm not doing a great job describing it. I just felt like it wasn't vibrant or extra special looking - But the feel when there in person could be different!

Question for you, if you've been, do you feel like time spent in the rooms/plunge pools, beach, infinity pool / bar area, felt luxurious? Are those common areas enjoyable and well kept with staff around? Some of the videos made the resort look empty (which is frequently their purpose). Overall what are your favorite parts of the property?
