FWIW, I regularly fly Southwest between OAK and LGB/LAX. I'm a big fan of premium cabins, but I'm fine with Southwest for short flights. My wife and I have three Plats between us, and each year I make full use of the $200/year airline incidentals benefit via Southwest.
