Go to a legitimate taxi booth and pay a fix fee to take a taxi. You pay at the booth and not the taxi. The ticket is given to a taxi driver to take you to your destination. Make sure if you don't speak Spanish to have the location written down and give it to the taxi booth AND the driver.
