I can't think of many industries where prices haven't gone up one way or the other. Dynamic pricing means that demand is a factor. Why should Marriott give us a room for $100 when people will pay $150? Similarly. why should Marriott give us a room for 45K Bonvoy points when people are willing to pay 65K? If the rooms are priced too high, the market will tell them. So far, the market doesn't seem to be saying that.
