I can confirm that the latest version of Fly Delta (6.6.1) isn't doing notifications like earlier ones.
On my iPad, I received "we look forward to welcoming you onboard" at D-3 hours.
iPhone? Nothing.
My boarding passes are saved and okay, but I expect no zone boarding info either.
I'll have to monitor my watch, but I don't recall the "we're boarding, not yet your zone" in the past three weeks either.
