The major difference for the quickest turnaround was landing in T2 instead of T3. The T2 lines were very short.

Also where your aircraft parks at T3 can greatly impact your experience. I unfortunately experienced walking from almost the furthest gate to customs which despite the moving walkways is a mile walk.
And then along the way other passengers are deplaning which impacts your wait time.

After my last visit I really thought about landing at Narita next time, but that adds an extra hour and expense to get to Tokyo so I just continue to roll the dice with Haneda
