I've noticed the nonstops are generally more expensive than connecting. I saw some real head scratchers the other day where SAN-HNL was like $300, SAN-OGG was $200 but SAN-HNL-OGG was $159. Noticed similar pricing for all Hawaii destinations. Now I'm seeing routings with overnights at SMF to get the cheapest seats.
