My understanding is that domestic arrivals have a separate process from CTA. This is due to fact that CTA requires bags to go via customs hall while domestics do not. Therefore domestic arrivals will have a separate entrance to domestic baggage reclaim. I believe that it will initially involve bussing via a back of house route. Not sure when or how they would have a domestic arrivals route that avoids bussing as it was not clear from what I was told.
It feels like CTA and domestic flights were an after thought and they are trying to find solutions, which has resulted in the need for cameras on arrivals. Even a LHR T5, which was not designed for CTA, HAL and BA managed to find and design a practical solution to comply with requirements.
not at man t2. It will be the same. Ba passengers do also need to go thro customs, all passengers who do int-dom connections at LHR basically do customs at the dom destination.
