The space is quieter and generally more 'exclusive' if that is what you are looking for.
IMHO the quality of food is miles better than the Concorde Room, and don't get me started on the hard product. Even the Japanese have clued up and go to the CX lounge in LHR instead of that ghastly BA lounge.

Yes - did go upstairs. Also - don't drink coffee.
On the age item, of course they don't. I wear jeans and tennis shoes. Point is - many/most people in F dress down - always best to have low profile when flying.
