Y bulkhead remains unchanged at 33" so I used 31 for all 6 rows. If it's still 38":

They certainly can fit another row of Y in if they reduced W to 38", so I think increasing to 42" probably has to do with competition against CI and JX and still charge a premium.
There's still 18 inches to account for that's probably partially, if not mostly, taken up by the rear bulkhead and space behind the last W row for recline, so 38" wouldn't have allowed another row of Y.

The same seat can have different customizations (although I'm surprised that BR has an entirely different tray table). CX, AA, DL, UA, and many others use the same Collins MiQ seat but with differences with regards to bottle holders, tablet holders, under-screen compartments, power outlet location, etc. Another example, CI and JL (aside from A351s) use the same seat but with different customizations.

Other thing I noticed is BR doesn't seem to have USB-C ports, which would be a really odd choice for 2025.
