Thank you for your reply! I totally understand about customs. Generally, my experience is, as long as you declare it, most flowers are fine. I would plan to declare the flowers on my declaration, and if I got to the final destination and they said, no, you can't have these, I will be like, no problem.
My other plan would be just to arrange locally grown flowers to be delivered to the hotel. But that doesn't have the same effect as flowers in-hand at the airport!
