My first flight Vietnam Airlines, from SGN to HAN as SkyTeam Elite +

No preferred or better seat selection in advance or at online check-in. Same as people without status and a ticket that allows seat selection.

Boarding pass does say SkyPriority in red

No fast track security allowed, since I am just from SK, maybe just because I am not from VN, not entirely sure there. End result is the same though.

No lounge (obviously), but even though VN offers business class on most of their domestic flights, they seem to rely on the contract lounges for lounge access. Lounges with nowhere near sufficient capacity. But anyway, I did not see reason to get a business class ticket on this day trip back and forth.

Seat selection, basically same as Star, does not hold up against OW.

Fast track was there, but not applicable to SK generated status (or partner in general) loose loose against *G and OW.

No lounge for domestic flights. Also loose to my JAL status, but now that I switched to UA 1K same as *G (almost, as in SFO, LAX, I can seek out the MLL and in HNL I can use ANA if the timing suits, plus quite a few other options I hear)

I guess boarding group 1 is my only benefit today.
